After interviewing a number of companies, I selected FG Pavers and Turf to remodel my backyard, and I'm SO glad I did. First, Daniel came out to answer my gazillion questions and drew a landscape blueprint for me to accompany his reasonable quote. When I accepted, Ryan, the project manager, answered a gazillion more of my questions, helped me with ideas, and then constantly monitored the paver, turf, and rock installations to make sure everything was perfect, even re-doing a step a number of times to make sure I was happy with it. Fernando and his crew did perfect work from start to finish installing my artificial turf. If you hire FG Pavers and Turf (and you should!), be sure to ask for their in-house team led by Fernando. From Janelle in the office to Daniel, Ryan, and Fernando and his team, everyone at FG Pavers is friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and highly professional. We selected FG pavers for our landscaping project after an extensive search which included hearing how they could make our Yardzen design come to life.

The FG pavers team was very organized in the initial phase of the project and very helpful in adjusting our plans based on our budget, etc. Overall, they moved the project along relatively quickly, even in the face of supply chain and weather related issues.

As is often the case with any contracting project, there were frustrations and some miscommunications along the way. Some things needed to be redone. We recently filled in our pool with the plan to completely re-do our backyard. After getting plans/renderings done by Yardzen, we interviewed several contractors and based on our interactions with our eventual project manager Ryan as well as their competetive pricing, we went with FG Pavers for our backyard transformation.

Our project included installation of pavers and rock in our entire backyard and both side yards, drip irrigation and installation of all new plants/trees, the demolition of an existing overhang/balcony and the construction of a new, larger balcony, the construction of a large enclosed walk-in planter box, and integrated lighting. This was the largest home renovation project we've tackled to date, and Ryan and his team (plus the external contractor teams recommended by FG Pavers to do the balcony deck and planter box builds, and the plant/tree installation) were all very courteous, helpful, and available for questions/feedback all along the way. Ryan was always available to provide updates, ask questions of us on our preferences, and provide feedback when we had our own questions that popped up daily.

In the end, our project went as planned, and we are very happy with the results. I am writing this review about 4 months after the work has been completed and we are still really happy with how everything turned out. We would not hesitate to bring FG Pavers back in for our future projects and would definitely recommend them to any of our friends looking to transform their front or back yards.
