Longer story: I moved into a new house that had used Frank for their backyard renovation. The quality of the work done was something that actually drew us to the house and was one of the deciding factors to purchase. Once we moved in we noticed a bump in the turf. I reached out to Frank and he sent out a crew who uncovered a massive mushroom, made sure the area was completely clean, flat and back to original shape then spent time tirelessly ensuring that the turf was put back together exactly how it was.

I was so impressed with the work and will recommend FG to anyone who's looking for a company to work with.

I contacted FG Pavers to build a concrete deck in my backyard. Erik did thorough analysis, he even provided options between concrete and pavers. Finally we decided to go with Pavers. Erik continued to work closely with me to review different options to help me decide the best as well as the most affordable option. I had read on Yelp reviews that FG Pavers pricing is on the higher side, but their quote was actually better than one of the other contractors. After the plan was finalized, Danny and team completed the work in a quick time time. Ryan provided daily updates and stayed involved whenever there was any change in the plan. I felt very comfortable working with them if I were to undertake any other deck/pergola project in the backyard, I'll hire them again. I highly recommend them.

We were referred to FG Pavers and Turf by Yardzen and we could not be happier. While we interviewed a number of contractors, we knew immediately that this was the company we would be working with. Ryan, the project manager, was one of the main reasons. He was amazing to work with due to his timely, comprehensive communications. One would expect that this level of customer service would result in outrageous pricing. This was not the case. The overall project cost was competitive and completely reasonable. When it came time to install, the process was seamless with Danny as the installation lead. Our house was built in 89 and the backyard was in a complete mess, we wanted to clean it up and started to look for experts.

FG Pavers and Turf was one of a few contractors that looked at our backyard and sent us a quote. I have dealt with many contractors before, and when it comes to presenting a quote some are quite detail and some are just not. The quote I received from Erik (FG Pavers) is so detail, he really takes it to the next level. For a customer like me, this brings so much confidence and trust. Their price is quite reasonable. When things are completed, the price I paid feels very justified, it feels like a bargain.

Erik and Frank came from time to time to check the progress and to make sure the quality is maintained. The crew was fantastic too.

Looking at the backyard now, it's difficult to imagine how big of a mess it was prior to FG's hard work. The crew worked hard almost every weekday (when the break in rain permitted) for two weeks to transform a rocky, barren landscape into a green oasis. Our furry companions now happily frolick through the yard every chance they get (and wait at the patio doors to go outside when indoors).

From day one, the entire team has been very responsive in all aspects and communication was one of the elements I was most appreciative of. It was an easy decision to work with FG given that and their attention to detail -- from the initial design, to every brick laid for the border.

Although it was not a cheap yard project, it was most definitely worth the costs. We would highly recommend reaching out to FG Pavers & Turf for any lawn transformations!

After interviewing a number of companies, I selected FG Pavers and Turf to remodel my backyard, and I'm SO glad I did. First, Daniel came out to answer my gazillion questions and drew a landscape blueprint for me to accompany his reasonable quote. We recently filled in our pool with the plan to completely re-do our backyard. After getting plans/renderings done by Yardzen, we interviewed several contractors and based on our interactions with our eventual project manager Ryan as well as their competetive pricing, we went with FG Pavers for our backyard transformation.

Our project included installation of pavers and rock in our entire backyard and both side yards, drip irrigation and installation of all new plants/trees, the demolition of an existing overhang/balcony and the construction of a new, larger balcony, the construction of a large enclosed walk-in planter box, and integrated lighting. This was the largest home renovation project we've tackled to date, and Ryan and his team (plus the external contractor teams recommended by FG Pavers to do the balcony deck and planter box builds, and the plant/tree installation) were all very courteous, helpful, and available for questions/feedback all along the way. Ryan was always available to provide updates, ask questions of us on our preferences, and provide feedback when we had our own questions that popped up daily.

In the end, our project went as planned, and we are very happy with the results. I am writing this review about 4 months after the work has been completed and we are still really happy with how everything turned out. We would not hesitate to bring FG Pavers back in for our future projects and would definitely recommend them to any of our friends looking to transform their front or back yards.
