Yardzen connected us with Tony and the team at FG Pavers to help us execute a full yard design - front yard, back yard and both side yards. Tony was incredibly responsive and engaged in the process, providing creative tweaks on the design and install plans after speaking with us about our vision and budget. Our first side yard project was finished in just a few days and it looks fantastic - we ripped out a brick patio and poured new cement, installed landscape rock with drip lines, low-voltage lighting, some grass and over 30 plants! Tony is very hands-on and even helped us arrange pick-up of back-ordered plants from Devil Mountain nursery. The other side yard project was more involved with ripping out an aging deck, leveling and laying pavers and pea pebble. Ryan was the project manager and was very communicative, thorough in the planning and the crew finished the job two days faster than they originally estimated. The whole team was wonderful to work with, very clean, organized and the finished product looks great! We will definitely use Tony and FG Pavers again for our upcoming pergola projects and pavers for the driveway.

We recently filled in our pool with the plan to completely re-do our backyard. After getting plans/renderings done by Yardzen, we interviewed several contractors and based on our interactions with our eventual project manager Ryan as well as their competetive pricing, we went with FG Pavers for our backyard transformation.

Our project included installation of pavers and rock in our entire backyard and both side yards, drip irrigation and installation of all new plants/trees, the demolition of an existing overhang/balcony and the construction of a new, larger balcony, the construction of a large enclosed walk-in planter box, and integrated lighting. This was the largest home renovation project we've tackled to date, and Ryan and his team (plus the external contractor teams recommended by FG Pavers to do the balcony deck and planter box builds, and the plant/tree installation) were all very courteous, helpful, and available for questions/feedback all along the way. Ryan was always available to provide updates, ask questions of us on our preferences, and provide feedback when we had our own questions that popped up daily.

In the end, our project went as planned, and we are very happy with the results. I am writing this review about 4 months after the work has been completed and we are still really happy with how everything turned out. We would not hesitate to bring FG Pavers back in for our future projects and would definitely recommend them to any of our friends looking to transform their front or back yards.

We wholeheartedly recommend FG Pavers for anyone who needs hardscape renovations done for their property. We had approximately 6000 sq. ft. of work including 2500sq ft of pavers, about equal that in artificial turf, and a 3ft high retaining wall that ran about 120ft. We interviewed 7 different contractors with high ratings on Yelp and Google, and narrowed it down to FG and another company we would have been happy to go with.

Hiring a contractor is always a bit of a crapshoot but I feel we got very fortunate to meet Daniel and his team after a lot of hard work and due diligence in our selection process. Start to finish, we began interviewing in November of 2024 and finished up work in May 2025.

We chose FG for a number of reasons. First, Daniel was professional, knowledgeable and detailed in the initial consultation and quoting process. His quote left no question what they were, and were not, going to do, and his prices were in line with other contractors.

Equally important was that Daniel is a calm, neutral presence. Not salesy, responsive to texts and calls, and reasonable in his responses. Not over promising, but also able to execute what we wanted with minimal headaches and never any pushback. He even met us at SiteOne to go over options and pricing for pavers.

And, the pictures online demonstrated an attention to detail and sophistication that other companies seemed to lack. We wanted to go with a smaller, local company rather than contract out to a larger corporation that charges more simply for name and overhead.

They were able to start within about 3 weeks. Once ground broke, things moved FAST. Incredibly fast. Massive bobcats working straight 8 hours a day fast. As the backyard got rolling and we were happy with the crew and results, we added a new driveway to complete the entire look because it made sense and the team was there and working quickly.

The paver job was excellent. Crisp cuts, sharp lines, imperfections only if you get down on your hands and knees to see. You can see some very faint seams in the artificial turf but it's hardly noticeable unless you're being super critical. One area of turf is slightly rippling near a circular landscape cutout but it's not worth worrying about.

Special shoutout to Eduardo, the foreman, and the crew who showed up every day, worked hard and professionally, without smoking or music or other distraction. All very professional and polite.

Our job was not without its hiccups, however. Any job will have some issues and ours was no different. Daniel's initial quote for dirt removal came up very short for the design we decided on. So, that was an extra charge that FG helped foot the bill for since the initial quote was so low.

Also, and this is probably a good thing, the workers (Eduardo and his crew) go VERY strictly to the plan. I think Daniel could have done a little better job specifying in the planning phase that whatever you approve on the plan WILL be followed, to the foot/inch. Once the backyard came to life it was clear we needed more lights here, the path to be wider here, etc. They are super flexible changing on the fly, but if it will require upcharge they will charge. Fair though.

We contracted them to install a yardistry gazebo as well, and they got the measurements wrong slightly so that the drainage and downspouts didn't line up as we'd intended. Unable to change the location of the massive concrete footers, gazebo, they were able to come up with a creative rerouting of the downspouts that works well.

One of the downspouts leaked all over the driveway after a few weeks on a damp dewy morning, they came by to fix it. At month two a few of the pavers separated on the edges, and they came out to fix it no problem within a week. And, there is a slight separation (like, 1/4 inch) on two of the bricks of the retaining wall but nothing worth worrying about unless it gets worse.

Overall we are very pleased with choosing FG and would recommend them without reservation.

Looking at the backyard now, it's difficult to imagine how big of a mess it was prior to FG's hard work. The crew worked hard almost every weekday (when the break in rain permitted) for two weeks to transform a rocky, barren landscape into a green oasis. Our furry companions now happily frolick through the yard every chance they get (and wait at the patio doors to go outside when indoors).

From day one, the entire team has been very responsive in all aspects and communication was one of the elements I was most appreciative of. It was an easy decision to work with FG given that and their attention to detail -- from the initial design, to every brick laid for the border.

Although it was not a cheap yard project, it was most definitely worth the costs. We would highly recommend reaching out to FG Pavers & Turf for any lawn transformations!

FG Pavers re-landscaped our front yard and most of our backyard in August 2023. I've waited to write a review to make sure the installation stood the test of time (at least a short time), and met my expectations (mostly, cut down on the ever-present weeds). SPOILER: YES!!! I was skeptical of pavers having seen paved areas in other's yards years ago and they were always uneven, falling apart, and full of weeds. But in talking though my concerns with Ryan, I was convinced that it was best way to go. I worked with Hugo on design. I mostly knew what I wanted, and Hugo was easy to work with. Both he and Ryan had great input on areas I wasn't sure about. Ryan went out of his way to bring me samples of materials so I could be sure of my choices. The work crew, headed by Danny, showed up on time every day and worked HARD! I was amazed at how fast the work went. Paver walkways were installed through the front yard, a couple planting areas were added, and different types of rock were placed everywhere else. In the backyard FG installed a section of no-mow grass, a section of rock, and a raised planting bed. We had a couple of minor issues with materials going in the wrong places, but they were resolved quickly with no fuss. FG and their wonderful people did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

First, Daniel came out to answer my gazillion questions and drew a landscape blueprint for me to accompany his reasonable quote. Recently I hired FG Pavers & Turf for our backyard remodel project. Fist Hugo assessed my requirements very carefully, worked on the estimate and provided a quote on the same visit. The estimate was very attractive compared to others. The initial project was to install pavers, build a pergola patio cover and backyard landscaping.
