I have dealt with many contractors before, and when it comes to presenting a quote some are quite detail and some are just not. The quote I received from Erik (FG Pavers) is so detail, he really takes it to the next level. For a customer like me, this brings so much confidence and trust. Their price is quite reasonable. When things are completed, the price I paid feels very justified, it feels like a bargain.

Eduardo and Hugo were amazing. We redid our backyard and they put in the coolest basketball court around. In addition, they worked thoroughly with us to pick amazing turf to train for soccer.

Their ability to problem solve throughout the process was excellent. We weren't sure about how to level the area and they had the creative idea to just bring the whole area up and forget about keeping the unnecessary slope to the street. We put in a step to the street instead and it was genius of them to think of it (sounds simple but all the folks that bid on the project didn't suggest it).

Last, they have been back out like 4 Times since it ended to help me add sealant and fix my sprinklers.

Longer story: I moved into a new house that had used Frank for their backyard renovation. The quality of the work done was something that actually drew us to the house and was one of the deciding factors to purchase. Once we moved in we noticed a bump in the turf. I reached out to Frank and he sent out a crew who uncovered a massive mushroom, made sure the area was completely clean, flat and back to original shape then spent time tirelessly ensuring that the turf was put back together exactly how it was.

Looking at the backyard now, it's difficult to imagine how big of a mess it was prior to FG's hard work. The crew worked hard almost every weekday (when the break in rain permitted) for two weeks to transform a rocky, barren landscape into a green oasis. Our furry companions now happily frolick through the yard every chance they get (and wait at the patio doors to go outside when indoors).

From day one, the entire team has been very responsive in all aspects and communication was one of the elements I was most appreciative of. It was an easy decision to work with FG given that and their attention to detail -- from the initial design, to every brick laid for the border.

Although it was not a cheap yard project, it was most definitely worth the costs. We would highly recommend reaching out to FG Pavers & Turf for any lawn transformations!

We were referred to FG Pavers and Turf by Yardzen and we could not be happier. While we interviewed a number of contractors, we knew immediately that this was the company we would be working with. Ryan, the project manager, was one of the main reasons. He was amazing to work with due to his timely, comprehensive communications. One would expect that this level of customer service would result in outrageous pricing. This was not the case. The overall project cost was competitive and completely reasonable. When it came time to install, the process was seamless with Danny as the installation lead. They were able to complete our yard ahead of schedule and it looks even better than the Yardzen renderings.

FG Pavers re-landscaped our front yard and most of our backyard in August 2023. I've waited to write a review to make sure the installation stood the test of time (at least a short time), and met my expectations (mostly, cut down on the ever-present weeds). SPOILER: YES!!! I was skeptical of pavers having seen paved areas in other's yards years ago and they were always uneven, falling apart, and full of weeds. But in talking though my concerns with Ryan, I was convinced that it was best way to go. I worked with Hugo on design. I mostly knew what I wanted, and Hugo was easy to work with. Both he and Ryan had great input on areas I wasn't sure about. Ryan went out of his way to bring me samples of materials so I could be sure of my choices. The work crew, headed by Danny, showed up on time every day and worked HARD! I was amazed at how fast the work went. Paver walkways were installed through the front yard, a couple planting areas were added, and different types of rock were placed everywhere else. In the backyard FG installed a section of no-mow grass, a section of rock, and a raised planting bed. We had a couple of minor issues with materials going in the wrong places, but they were resolved quickly with no fuss. FG and their wonderful people did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

Recently I hired FG Pavers & Turf for our backyard remodel project. Fist Hugo assessed my requirements very carefully, worked on the estimate and provided a quote on the same visit. The estimate was very attractive compared to others. The initial project was to install pavers, build a pergola patio cover and backyard landscaping. The crew namely Oscar, Brian (Pavers, Landscaping, & Outdoor Kitchen) , Luis, Mike (Pergola Patio Covers), and the project manager, Ryan were very professional, courteous, and always cleaned up after themselves. I'm incredibly impressed with the quality of the work. The pavers look fantastic, and the pergola is sturdy and beautifully built. Also, it is worth mentioning that they were very accommodative to add, make changes to the original plan, get appropriate city permits (Pergola and outdoor gas line) etc. That really helped me to add an outdoor Kitchen afterwards. I highly recommend FG Pavers & Turf for any backyard remodel projects. They are true professionals who take pride in their work.

We selected FG pavers for our landscaping project after an extensive search which included hearing how they could make our Yardzen design come to life.

The FG pavers team was very organized in the initial phase of the project and very helpful in adjusting our plans based on our budget, etc. Overall, they moved the project along relatively quickly, even in the face of supply chain and weather related issues.

As is often the case with any contracting project, there were frustrations and some miscommunications along the way. Some things needed to be redone. But here's the critical difference between FG and other companies: Frank, Erik and team went above and beyond to make sure every issue was rectified in a professional manner. They always demonstrated the utmost class and were always calm and respectful. Frank and team clearly have a high standard when it comes to customer satisfaction. We recently filled in our pool with the plan to completely re-do our backyard. After getting plans/renderings done by Yardzen, we interviewed several contractors and based on our interactions with our eventual project manager Ryan as well as their competetive pricing, we went with FG Pavers for our backyard transformation.

Our project included installation of pavers and rock in our entire backyard and both side yards, drip irrigation and installation of all new plants/trees, the demolition of an existing overhang/balcony and the construction of a new, larger balcony, the construction of a large enclosed walk-in planter box, and integrated lighting. This was the largest home renovation project we've tackled to date, and Ryan and his team (plus the external contractor teams recommended by FG Pavers to do the balcony deck and planter box builds, and the plant/tree installation) were all very courteous, helpful, and available for questions/feedback all along the way. Ryan was always available to provide updates, ask questions of us on our preferences, and provide feedback when we had our own questions that popped up daily.

In the end, our project went as planned, and we are very happy with the results. I am writing this review about 4 months after the work has been completed and we are still really happy with how everything turned out. We would not hesitate to bring FG Pavers back in for our future projects and would definitely recommend them to any of our friends looking to transform their front or back yards.

I contacted FG Pavers to build a concrete deck in my backyard. Erik did thorough analysis, he even provided options between concrete and pavers. Finally we decided to go with Pavers. Erik continued to work closely with me to review different options to help me decide the best as well as the most affordable option. I had read on Yelp reviews that FG Pavers pricing is on the higher side, but their quote was actually better than one of the other contractors. After the plan was finalized, Danny and team completed the work in a quick time time. Ryan provided daily updates and stayed involved whenever there was any change in the plan. I felt very comfortable working with them if I were to undertake any other deck/pergola project in the backyard, I'll hire them again. I highly recommend them.

Tony was incredibly responsive and engaged in the process, providing creative tweaks on the design and install plans after speaking with us about our vision and budget. Our first side yard project was finished in just a few days and it looks fantastic - we ripped out a brick patio and poured new cement, installed landscape rock with drip lines, low-voltage lighting, some grass and over 30 plants! Tony is very hands-on and even helped us arrange pick-up of back-ordered plants from Devil Mountain nursery. The other side yard project was more involved with ripping out an aging deck, leveling and laying pavers and pea pebble. Ryan was the project manager and was very communicative, thorough in the planning and the crew finished the job two days faster than they originally estimated.
