This Danville backyard was reimagined for year‑round comfort: a custom patio cover, a statement gas fireplace with a TV recess, and integrated lighting come together for an inviting outdoor living room.
We coordinated gas, electrical, and finish trades to deliver a seamless space. The patio cover integrates recessed cans, pendant lights, and dual ceiling fans, while two overhead gas heaters are set on multi‑interval timers so they can’t be left on. The fireplace design pivots from a hearth to a clean mantle shelf, with a rear access panel for service and a recessed power box for the TV. Stone veneer was installed on the fireplace and columns, finished with a white grout per the client’s reference images. Pavers were sealed for durability, and the porcelain surface beneath the cover was intentionally left unsealed for slip resistance and easy care.
At the outdoor kitchen, we installed under‑counter LED lighting with a dedicated transformer, coordinated appliance re‑installs, and scheduled a stucco touch‑up. Final lighting was tuned to a warmer color to match the pendants, and the fire feature was filled with dark gray fire glass for a refined glow.
The result is a warm, modern outdoor living room that blends comfort and performance—perfect for family gatherings, game nights by the fire, and year‑round entertaining in Danville.
